Adopt A DolphinAnimals for adoption

When I talked to my daughter, who was seven at the time, to adopt a panda, I neglected to explain the concept properly. She asked me if our house was big enough for a panda and what feeds us! Although I really want a pet panda, I do not think I do very well. I remember this episode of the Simpsons where Bart won an elephant. Animals for adoption, since wild animals are concerned, is not at hand.

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF), have an adoption plan, which works very well. The idea is to choose an animal from their animals to the adoption program and commit to pay a sum of money each month. The money goes towards the conservation of this animal in its natural environment. WWF does not zoos, but is determined to preserve endangered species in their natural habitat.

The selection of animals that WWF is proposing the giant panda, orangutan, bottlenose dolphin, Bengal Tiger, Asian Elephant and Black Rhino. Animals for adoption scheme allows you to feel part of the excellent work that WWF does. By joining the scheme and the choice of your pet, you receive a certificate, a photo of the animal and stuffed animal. You also get a fact sheet on the species and information on how to respect the environment.

Each species is endangered on the list for one reason or another and would be in even worse shape if there was no official support from the WWF and similar organizations.
Animals for adoption plays an important role in conservation and awareness.

The giant panda is greatly affected by deforestation for timber and agriculture. There is also the problem of overgrazing. Habitat destruction is also a problem for the orang-utan, as land is cleared for agriculture and commercial logging. The islands of Borneo and Sumatra are now the only places left on Earth where wild orangutans can be found.

Dolphins have their own problems of the hand of man. The oceans are increasingly polluted and dolphins are often caught in fishing. Since waterways are busier, they are in danger of collision with ships. Animals for adoption plan is vital for the print issues of Bengal Tiger in Nepal, which are in constant danger from poachers. It is hoped that the patrols have been put in place can help the situation.

Demand for black rhino horn has made this very rare species. The powder from the Horn has long been a favorite ingredient for traditional Chinese medicine. Again, habitat clearance for agriculture and forestry is to the Asian elephant under threat. Pets for adoption is a way of showing that you love all these animals endangered.
