What is the best process for the growth of a part of my lawn with Bermuda grass seed? I live in North Carolina, so we have red clay. So this weekend I turned the clay, put some seed down Bermuda Scotts and Scotts fertilizer with it and the wetland well enough and stroked the dirt down. I also dropped in the morning and when I go home at night to keep it moist. I want to make sure the grass grows and anything that helps me is greatly appreciated!
Keep up the good work
The seeds germinate and grow until the weather is very hot. I hope you do too wet clay, blocks of forms. Keep slightly moist but not wet unless you grow algae. Maybe a light mulch to help retain moisture??
what you've been pretty good but you should not have tapped the clay that bury seeds and let them germinate.the best thing you can do is turn the newer and your offspring more compost. Compost helps to soften the clay and provides essential nutrients for the seeds.
