How to fix string constant error and Unterminated store_list is null or not an object? When I open Internet Explorer or new tabs I error unterminated string constant. Does not seem to matter what site I'm on. Then, if I search I get this error with "store_list is null or not an object.
Please help me solve these problems!
If this happens just opening IE - without you doing anything - then the problem must be the "first page, as IE is set to open at startup.
In my opinion, this should always be the blank page (URL on ``:''white), but in your case it looks different.
Unless you or your ISP (or school?) Setting the initial URL for you (and the page has a bug), it is supposed to be something under msn.com, where Microsoft is very unlikely to have a bug.
More likely, you downloaded some crap, which amended the original page to point to some advertising site of poor quality. The aim of the rabble-g to be paid each time the page loads of publicity.
Chances are, you have other infections and should either seek professional help for your PC (caliper, Best Buy, Office Depot offers all the anti-virus service, but I've never used), or, if you have an idea, clean your own computer.
Download Ad-Aware (see link in Sources below) - the free version is fine, you can opt to upgrade to a paid version - and let it perform a full scan once (may take hours) . You'll be surprised how much crap you have ... You probably want to let Ad-Aware action "default" with all the elements he found ...
Re-run it (the fastest "smart" scan mode) at least once a week after ... And watch kittens dancing download the next time ...
