Washing a Fred Perry polo shirts? Ive had my Fred Perry polo shirts around a month or two. After a few wash they go all hard and out of shape. and necklaces go horrible.
suggestions?
Turn inside out and wash in a cold wash / cold rinse cycle on a smooth implementation with detergent and fabric softener (no bleach or bleach without additives in detergents). Do not put it in the dryer! Reshape it (neck included) while it is still damp and let them dry on a flat surface. Sometimes I hang shirts from my husband on a doorknob to dry and it never seems to mess up the pass.
washing following the label instructions, and make the shirt last longer, turn inside out before washing it
Never wash anything except cold water brights
use a laundry booster like borax with your brights
use a sizing agent in the wash (like a tablespoon of cornstarch) to help the tissues maintain their shape
it is sometimes useful to re-light the red to buy a new red handkerchief and wash them with
collared shirts still hanging to dry, taking care to hold the collar of the way it should be
I buy my husband's shirts cheap and do not have this problem!
Try to wash and bathe them in soothing and short spin and get in shape before drying, so make sure you do not wash cycle too hot.
Hope this helps.
