With winter coats for girls who are like the two layers into one, you can still fit a sweater underneath? http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/kids/gir ...
Looking at this jacket for my daughter. It's like two layers, a shell, then another. I wish she still room for a sweater under the coat, I cannot remember if such layers are generally the place for that?
Coat My son and daughter both like you are watching. My son is a size larger and has plenty of room to layer underneath. My daughter is also a larger size, but not as spacious. Although there is still enough space for a sweater underneath if I could convince to wear one. I found that girls' coats tend to be cleaner.
I always buy my child a coat too large for that very reason. Sweaters are heavy and uncomfortable (according to my children) without squeezing them tight enough in a layer on top of it! I also unpack and remove the inner layer, unless it is super cold or they will be outdoors for long periods of time. We live in the North and we had one last week in January where he has not won more than 10 degrees and they were a bit cramped, so lol! Most of the time if they are just walking from the car to school or the store.
