Jeep Compass chooses Goodyear Tires Jeep has selected Goodyear Wrangler tire supplier for its future programming. Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires in size P215/65R17 was incorporated to establish Jeep parts to produce more efficient vehicles. Said tire will serve as original equipment for the 2007 version of the Jeep Compass. This is the new compact SUV from the automaker which is based on the Dodge Caliber and GS platform. Said model is now available for dealer.
It may be recalled that Compass was introduced at the 2006 North American International Auto Show last January. Four months later, the first Compass was produced. The latest Jeep Patriot with (both based on the platform of DaimlerChrysler / Mitsubishi GS), replaced Liberty as the entry level SUV automaker. Compass is designed as a hot hatch crossover while Patriot Sport is designed to appeal to the traditional car.
Compass is the first Jeep SUV crossover. It has a 172 HP (128 kW) 2.4 L GEMA I4 gasoline engine. In addition, the car has an electronically controlled all-wheel drive system. The latter is capable of handling the torque between speeds of 25 to 65 mph. In the United States, said the vehicle model has a base price of $ 15,985.
Jeep Compass has its combined functionality, handling, packaging, fuel economy, and powerful SUV performance. Compass has received a fully independent suspension for better handling and road performance. It is offered in both front and four-wheel drive, Sport and Limited models.
Goodyear Wrangler SR-A, on the other hand, is a tire that is designed to handle off-road traction. It is also ideal for a smooth, quiet ride on the road.
