What is the best way to whiten tile grout without using a pen injection? My grout is discolored (a sort of reddish brown), but does not work any mold in it. I used grout pens before, but they always seem to end the half paint and tiles. Any suggestions or products that can do a good job?
Bleach and a toothbrush or nail brush and lots of elbow grease!
The best way I found was to use a nail file and scrape the top layer.
Wee on it
A mixture of bleach and a green scrub pad ... elbow grease
Use bleach to clean a toothbrush - just rub the grout, leave for a few minutes then rinse. Works a treat every time.
I have this problem in the bathroom. I keep seeing these little steam cleaners [shaped] penguin for sale in newspapers, costs about 30 pounds, can you buy one and let me know if it works.
Polycell grout reviver is good.
Hello,
There is only one way to get your grout looking new again. Rake out joints and re-grout them, you can get a good tile join rakes and a can of grout B & Q needs a little elbow grease, but you'll be well pleased with the outcome, and Believe me it an't no other way.
Skew Be Safe,
