You may be wondering what is the difference between Tahiti and hula dance. If so, you should know that there is little difference beyond the pace that the dances are set to. For some of Tahitian dances, there is a much faster rate than is sometimes called the "hip shaking, while hula dances can go even faster, but are considered much more graceful and has most hands in the story aspect of dance.
