What is the best case for the iPod video? I then 4 choices. two soft and two kinds hard.
I could get the iSkin eVo3 for, but thats really expensive http://www.iskin.com/eVo3gallery/features.html
I could get the thing to icewear tunewear but it seems funky and hard to get http://www.tunewear.com/english/product/icewear_5g/index.html

or I could get the XtremeMac MicroShield http://www.xtrememac.com/cases/video/microshield_video.shtml which is quite good (no tax or shipping), but it looks funky?

We believe that the iSkin eVo3 for the best deal. It seems that since the wheel is covered, it would be more secure and help the machine in the long term. I have a rubber skin for my mini and it's great.
Wal-Mart sells a brand of good ($ 2) rubber case, but they may not have a size video iPod yet.
The hard case would not protect from dropping as much. idea helmet: helmet breaks, but ok your head. The only drawback of the ESA is that the rubber sticks to your pants when you try to get out of your pocket.
It seems to me that you know your options. You just need to be an adult and take a decision for yourself based on your needs.
