Large Coffee Mugs

I live in Los Angeles and im having the hardest time trying to go for coffee mugs nice for my mother's Christmas gift ... work full time and i do not want to waste time going to places and not find what Im looking for so please help me with opinions or ideas on where I can go .. . Le Gourmet Chef .... maybe? I live in NH, so I do not know if they have this shop in the West. But was there a week ago and I think they have cups. Or maybe try and Williams Sonoma.
