Molle Vest - How it works? SOFT be an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load carrying equipment. This is the current holders who are employed by the United States Army. The MOLLE system is a substitute for the ALICE (All-purpose individual lightweight carrying equipment) system. It was launched in 1997, but its use was not widespread until after the terrorist attacks against the United States September 11, 2001.
The MOLLE system is a fully integrated system consisting of a jacket platform with a butt pack, a main ruck sacks sustainable and a compartment for carrying a sleeping bag. The jacket is worn continuously load and contains pockets to carry the hand grenade or a magazine. It is a device that is connected to the jacket that is created to allow the outer frame of the main ruck attaches to the belt on the jacket. This is very advantageous in the transfer of the load on the shoulders and hips to allow the implementation easier and less fatigue. One of the main parts of the MOLLE system is the nylon jacket. This vest is equipped with removable pockets that can be used to meet the different needs that are faced in carrying the military. SOFT has various alterations so that each partner of a team must be adapted to its specific needs.
The MOLLE system has increased in load capacity. It has a new suspension system with very padded, adjustable straps to make carrying easier and more comfortable. The belt is adjustable to different lengths so that more weight is concentrated in the shoulders and hips. Soft has a load of Fight against Carrier (FLC), which increases the amount of ammunition a soldier can carry and is designed so that the weight is distributed over the torso. Three flap pockets on the FLC can each hold two 30-round magazines. There are also two pockets canteen. One of the advantages that the system has on the MOLLE ALICE system is the absence of metal clips or hooks. They can exercise much more difficult than they sometimes burrow into the skin of the soldier. The vest on the MOLLE also comes with an H-back harness which reduces heat buildup.
All other major pockets of MOLLE have D-rings for wear with a sling and are structured with plastic windows that are invisible to the soldiers do not have to mark their individual SOFT. The system has two straps of six feet used to carry large objects and also a repair kit with supplies for simple repairs. SOFT Everything is delivered with a tube to supply water on the road.
Many amendments have been made to some sections of the MOLLE home and led to the development of MOLLE II. MOLLE equipment is available on the U.S. Calvary Store, Amazon and other suppliers of military equipment.
