What is the chance to be accepted into an MBA school Top? OK.
I am currently a senior chemical engineering major at San Jose State University.
My GPA is 3.3 and I had an internship last summer at Exxon Mobil, and I plan to work in the oil industry for 2 years and then apply a top MBA school. (Preferably Harvard)
I've never taken business classes at the university.
San Jose State is not an elite school, and I have a GPA correct. If I scored decent GMAT, would I stand a good chance of acceptance in a Top MBA school?
Yes, you have a good chance. You do not need a business class. You get them in the MBA program. San Jose is a good school. Harvard is very difficult to get into simply because they have tons of qualified candidates. But there are many other excellent schools. Before considering any MBA program is for you, visit the Official MBA Guide, a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their website and send them pre applications.
