What is a good hotel to stay in downtown Edmonton? We need to find one, preferably close to West Edmonton Mall, Greyhound depot, and not too far from the Belvedere Room of the Community. Suggestions? The Days Inn is close, but critics are a kind of off.
Downtown is basically just between West Edmonton Mall and the Hall Belvedere, about 60 blocks from downtown and between the two points. Depending on your budget there are many good hotels in the city center.

These are all the hotels I stayed at, or had friends / family stay at least and have taken a nosedive serious they are all excellent choices. The Days Inn is wicked lol, avoid it. There are cheaper rooms are available, but you will probably find you wake up at 5am just to get out.

Umm, West Edmonton Mall is not anywhere near downtown, there is no hotel can not be close to downtown and West Ed Mall. You really define what you would rather close. There are more than a Day's Inn, including one in the west, and downtown, I do not know where you checked out. If you want to be near the center, there is the right Fantasyland Hotel in the mall and several hotels located near other.
