The Lady Cutler
Lady Cutler was provided in March 1968 and launched on the sites of state in Newcastle, NSW, August 10, 1968. It was commissioned shortly after, on October 8 and quickly made his mark on the gay life in Sydney Harbour. In many ways it was different from the "classic" old Sydney Ferries, but the style double-effect has been completed and a similar derivative. It was followed by two nearly identical sister ships - Lady Woodward and Lady McKell - October 19, 1970.
The Lady Cutler served with great distinction for 22 years on the run inner harbor and was decommissioned in 1991. Many people remember with emotion the daily commuters from the north shore inland to the city and others like trippers Luna Park and Taronga Zoo. With Woodward and Lady Lady McKell it was originally sold in Hong Kong, but the interests of the transaction failed. In 1998 she was sold to Ron Morrison and Shannon Harper, retired from Port Jackson and steamed south of Melbourne.
She has completed its renovation in Melbourne and began his life again in December 2007. She was re-commissioned 13 January 2008 by the wife of the late Sir Roden Cutler VC, Lady (Joan) Cutler, who flew from Sydney for the occasion. Today, the ferry as a home office for special events and offers a number of river cruises Melbourne . For more information on Lady Cutler, please visit their website at the www.ladycutler.com.au
